Ian Loggie has joined 2 Seas for the remainder of this year’s British GT Championship campaign.
The 2022 champion will partner Aaron Walker in 2 Seas’ #15 Mercedes-AMG following Kenzie Beecroft’s departure just prior to Silverstone where Andrew Gilbert made a one-off appearance instead.
The entry will continue to race in the Silver-Am class.
Loggie first joined 2 Seas in 2023 after winning the title with RAM Racing the season before. He and Jules Gounon scored a win together en route to fifth in the standings before Loggie and Phil Keen finished one place higher in 2024.
The same duo made what was expected to be a one-off outing with Paradine at the season opening Silverstone 500 last month. However, the situation has evolved significantly since then, and now sees Loggie completing the season with a team and car he knows inside out.
“It feels like a lifetime ago since I was last out in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 with the 2 Seas Motorsport crew,” he said. “I’m really looking forward to being back as part of the team, and continuing in the British GT Championship for the season.”
Paradine’s race-by-race status prohibited Loggie from scoring point at Silverstone. His first chance to do so therefore comes this weekend at Oulton Park where he, Gounon and 2 Seas won together in 2023.
